598 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in recessed <br />special session at the County Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, on <br />Wednesday, December 31, 1986, at 4:00 P.M. <br /> Present - Commissioners: Kenneth F. Payne <br /> William G. Hamby, Jr. <br /> Martha H. Melvin <br /> R. Giles Moss <br /> Absent - Chairman: James W. Lentz <br /> Vice-Chairman Payne reconvened the called meeting of Monday, December 31, <br />1986. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Melvin, seconded by Commissioner Moss and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the purchase of 0.359 acres of <br />property from Snyder Printing for a price of $110,000.00. The property is <br />located on the north side of Corban Avenue at the corner of the Phillips <br />property operated as Gulf Oil Corporation. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />adjourned at 4:10 P.M. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
