NORTIf CAROLINA <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes <br />October 17, 1996 <br />7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Ms. Katherine Stafford, The Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Members present in addition to the Chair were Ms. Janice Harkey, Mr. Carleton <br />Hobbs, Mr. Walter Kiefer, Mr. Benjamin Lane, Mr. Dewey Moose, and Mr. <br />Aaron Ritchie. Attending from the Planning and Zoning Department were Mr. <br />Michael L. Byrd. Also attending was Mr. Richard Koch, Attorney for the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />The Chair asked if there were any corrections to the September 26, 1996 Minutes. <br /> <br />Mr. Richard Koch stated there were a number of items, do to the length of last <br />months meeting, particularly in the Vivian Mosley matter that was substantive <br />error, not typographical. Page 21, the 10th line from the bottom of the <br />paragraph, will be the decision maker concerning' the evidence that they hear in <br />the procedural aspects of this hearing. In should be and. Page 22, the 4th paragraph, Mr. KOch said his research <br />indicates that the rules and procedures, that should read the rules of civil <br />procedure and should be capitalized because it refers to a specific body of rules. <br />In that same paragraph the 4th line, the 1st word necessity should be necessarily. <br />Page 23, 3rd paragraph, 2nd line, Mr. Mills said in reverse order, he said Mr. <br />Mills can call him, it should be changed from him to Mr. Huntley. Page 26, 2nd <br />paragraph, Mr. Blythe said he would like to impose an objective, that should <br />read an objection. <br /> <br />There being no further corrections to the September 26~ 1996 Minutes, Mr. <br />Ritchie MOTIONED to approve the September 26, 1996 minutes as corrected, <br />seconded by Mr. Hobbs.
