NORTIf CAROLINA Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes October 17, 1996 7:00 P.M. Ms. Katherine Stafford, The Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present in addition to the Chair were Ms. Janice Harkey, Mr. Carleton Hobbs, Mr. Walter Kiefer, Mr. Benjamin Lane, Mr. Dewey Moose, and Mr. Aaron Ritchie. Attending from the Planning and Zoning Department were Mr. Michael L. Byrd. Also attending was Mr. Richard Koch, Attorney for the Planning and Zoning Commission. The Chair asked if there were any corrections to the September 26, 1996 Minutes. Mr. Richard Koch stated there were a number of items, do to the length of last months meeting, particularly in the Vivian Mosley matter that was substantive error, not typographical. Page 21, the 10th line from the bottom of the paragraph, will be the decision maker concerning' the evidence that they hear in the procedural aspects of this hearing. In should be and. It should read will be the decision maker concerning the evidence that they hear and the procedural' aspects of this hearing. Page 22, the 4th paragraph, Mr. KOch said his research indicates that the rules and procedures, that should read the rules of civil procedure and should be capitalized because it refers to a specific body of rules. In that same paragraph the 4th line, the 1st word necessity should be necessarily. Page 23, 3rd paragraph, 2nd line, Mr. Mills said in reverse order, he said Mr. Mills can call him, it should be changed from him to Mr. Huntley. Page 26, 2nd paragraph, Mr. Blythe said he would like to impose an objective, that should read an objection. There being no further corrections to the September 26~ 1996 Minutes, Mr. Ritchie MOTIONED to approve the September 26, 1996 minutes as corrected, seconded by Mr. Hobbs.
