! ,~jiL?r I <br /> J IJj L I <br /> <br /> NOI]Itl CAROLINA <br />Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes <br />April 18, 1996 <br />7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Ms. Katherine Stafford, Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 7'05 p.m. <br />Members present in addition to the Chair were Ms. Monica Davis, Ms. janice <br />Harkey, Mr. Ed Hill, Mr. Carleton HObbs, Mr. Walter Kiefer, Mr. Benjamin Lane, <br />and Mr. Dewey Moose, Jr. Attending from the Planning, Zoning and Building <br />Inspection Department were Mr. Jonathan B. Marshall, Senior Planner and Ms. <br />Phyllis C. Carr. Also attending was Mr. Richard Koch, Attorney for the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />There being no corrections to the March 21, 1996 Minutes, Mr. Hobbs <br />MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Kiefer to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote <br />was unanimous. <br /> <br />New Business <br /> <br />The Chair introduced the first item on the Agenda, Preliminary Subdivision Plat <br />Approval: <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Treyburn II - American Land Corporation <br />.Request: Preliminary. Subdivision Plat Approval <br /> <br />This was a request to the Cabarms County Planning and Zoning <br />Commission from American Land Corporati°n to have their <br />subdivision plat Treybum II approved preliminary. <br /> <br />Mr. Jonathan Marshall, Staff Member, addressed the Board <br />presenting Treyburn II preliminary subdivision plat stating as a <br />preliminary, no improvements have been constructed, but the front <br />lots have been given final approval already. Staff recommends <br />approval. <br /> <br />Mr. Moose said there is a considerable amount of lots in the <br />floodplain._ He asked if there is going to be enough of space for <br />construction. <br /> <br /> Planning, Zoning, and Building Inspection <br />P. o.
