ICABA US COU TYI NORTH CAROLINA Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes June 20, 1996 7:00 P.M. Ms. Katherine Stafford, The Chair, called' the meeting to order at 7'00 p.m. Members present in addition to the Chair were Mr. Ronald Davis, Ms. Janice Harkey, Mr. Carleton Hobbs, Mr. Walter Kiefer, Mr. Benjamin Lane, and Mr. Dewey Moose, Jr. Attending from the Planning, Zoning and Building Inspection Department were Mr. Michael K. Downs, Zoning Administrator, Mr. Michael L. Byrd, Transportation Planner and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr. Also attending was Mr. Richard Koch, Attorney for the Planning and Zoning Commission. There being no corrections to the May 16, 1996 Minutes, Ms. Harkey MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Hobbs to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. New Business The Chair stated to the citizens that we are Waiting on a couple of board members. She stated that the Board is going to switch the agenda, around, because we need at least eight people here in order to hear the conditional use applications. Since we 'only have seven, the Board is going to skip down to number four on the agenda, Planning Board Functions: The Chair introduced the first item on the Agenda, Zoning Arias Amendment, Petition 96-03: o Applicant:. Ferrell & Betty_ James Request: Zoning Arias Amendmem This was a request to the Cabarms County Planning and Zoning Commission from Ferrell & Betty James, Petition 96-03, PIN Numbers 55i8.03-39-0859 and 55i9.03-20-9094, to have their property located on Roberta Road at Coddle Creek rezoned from Medium Density Residential to High Density Residential for general rezoning.
