NORTH C~ROLINA <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes <br />July 18, 1996 <br />7'00 P.M. <br /> <br />Ms. Katherine Stafford, The Chair, called the meeting to .order at 7:03 p.m. <br />Members present in addition to the Chair were Mr. Ronald Davis, Mr. Clyde Drye, <br />Mr. Ed Hill, Mr. Carleton Hobbs, Mr. Walter Kiefer, Mr. Benjamin Lane, Mr. <br />Dewey Moose, Mr. Edward Moose, and Mr. Aaron Ritchie. Attending from the <br />Planning , Zoning and Building Inspection Department were Mr. Michael K. <br />Downs, Zoning Administrator, and Ms. Phyllis C, Carr. Also attending was Mr. <br />Richard Koch, Attorney for the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />There being no corrections to the June 20, 1996 Minutes, Mr. Kiefer MOTIONED, <br />seconded by Mr. Davis to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />The Chair stated that the Board has several Board of Adjustment. functions on our <br />agenda tonight and as a Board of Adjustment, we serve in a quasi judicial capacity, <br />therefore, anyone who wishes to address the Board for these matters will have to be <br />sworn in. <br /> <br />The Chair introduced the first item on the Agenda, Interpretation 1 l(I): <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Applicant: Vivian Mosley <br />Request: Inte~retation l!(O <br /> <br />This was a request to the Cabarms County Planning and Zoning <br />Commission from Vivian Mosley for an interpretation of an <br />administrative decision by Michael Downs, Zoning Administrator, <br />regarding F.W. Huntley private airstrip. <br /> <br />The Chair asked if there was anyone who would like to address the <br />Board concerning this matter to come forward and be sworn. She. <br />then sworn in Mr. Michael Downs, Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br />Mr. Michael Do~vns, Zoning Administrator, addressed the Board <br />stating that this is an interpretation of the administrative decision <br />concerning Mr. Huntley's airstrip. However, the applicant has filed <br />their appeal on time but they are requesting a sixty day (60) extension. <br /> <br /> Planning, Zoning, and Building Inspection <br />P. O.
