NORTH C~ROLINA Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes July 18, 1996 7'00 P.M. Ms. Katherine Stafford, The Chair, called the meeting to .order at 7:03 p.m. Members present in addition to the Chair were Mr. Ronald Davis, Mr. Clyde Drye, Mr. Ed Hill, Mr. Carleton Hobbs, Mr. Walter Kiefer, Mr. Benjamin Lane, Mr. Dewey Moose, Mr. Edward Moose, and Mr. Aaron Ritchie. Attending from the Planning , Zoning and Building Inspection Department were Mr. Michael K. Downs, Zoning Administrator, and Ms. Phyllis C, Carr. Also attending was Mr. Richard Koch, Attorney for the Planning and Zoning Commission. There being no corrections to the June 20, 1996 Minutes, Mr. Kiefer MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Davis to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. The Chair stated that the Board has several Board of Adjustment. functions on our agenda tonight and as a Board of Adjustment, we serve in a quasi judicial capacity, therefore, anyone who wishes to address the Board for these matters will have to be sworn in. The Chair introduced the first item on the Agenda, Interpretation 1 l(I): o Applicant: Vivian Mosley Request: Inte~retation l!(O This was a request to the Cabarms County Planning and Zoning Commission from Vivian Mosley for an interpretation of an administrative decision by Michael Downs, Zoning Administrator, regarding F.W. Huntley private airstrip. The Chair asked if there was anyone who would like to address the Board concerning this matter to come forward and be sworn. She. then sworn in Mr. Michael Downs, Zoning Administrator. Mr. Michael Do~vns, Zoning Administrator, addressed the Board stating that this is an interpretation of the administrative decision concerning Mr. Huntley's airstrip.
