~CABARRUS COUNTY! NORIH CAROLINA Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes April 20, 1995 7:00 P.M. Ms. Janice Harkey, Vice Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present in addition to the Vice Chair were Mr. Lewis Brownlow, Ms. Monica Davis, Mr. Clyde Drye, Mr. Ed Hill, Mr. R. Vernon-Jeter, Mr. Benjamin Lane, Mr. Dewey Moose and Mr. Aaron Ritchie. Attending from the Planning, Zoning and Building Inspection Department were Mr. Gerald A. NeWton, Director, Mr. Michael Downs, Zoning Administrator, Mr. Jonathan Marshall, Senior Planner and Ms. Phyllis C. Cart. Also attending was Mr. Rich Koch, Attorney for the Planning and Zoning Commission. There being no corrections to the March 16, 1995 Minutes, the Chair stated that they stand approved as received. Old Business The Chair introduced the first item of old business on the Agenda, Adoption of the Cabarrus County Subdivision Regulations: le Applicant: Planning, Zoning, Building Inspection Request: Adoption of Subdivision Regulations This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning. Commission from the Cabarrus County Planning, ~Zoning, and Building Inspection Department for the adoption of the Cabarrus County Subdivision Regulations. Mr. Jonathan Marshall, Senior Planner, addressed the Board stating that there were two changes the staff made to the draft. The first change is in areas that do not currently have water and sewer, but it is planned that it will be extended to that area, we are adding a provision to the ordinance whereby a developer could state on the Piannincj, Zoning, and Building Inspection P.
