CARO~NA <br />Planning and/.orang ~ommission Minutes <br />November 20, 1997 <br />7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Mr. Ed Hill Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members <br />present in addition to the Chair were Mr. Clyde Drye, Jr., Mr. Thomas Dwiggins, <br />Mr. Carleton Hobbs, Mr. Walter Kiefer, Mr.. Benjamin Lane, Mr. Dewey Moose, <br />Mr. Edward Moose, Mr. Aaron Ritc~e, and Mr. Ric Starnes. Attending from the <br />Planning Services and Development Services Department were Mr. Jonathan B. <br />Marshall, Planning Services Director, Mr. Brad Lagano, Senior Planner, Mr. <br />Michael L..BYrd, Transportation, Mr. lay' Lowe, Zoning Inspector and Ms. <br />Phyllis C. Cart. Also attending was Mr. Richard Koch, Attorney for the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />There being no corrections to the October 16, 1997 Minutes, Mr. Kiefer <br />MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Hobbs to approve the minutes as mailed. The <br />vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />The Chair went through the agenda for the Board members and the citizens, <br />stating that we. have an add on, H.M, Biggers Estate subdivision~ <br /> <br />The Chair said he received a letter from the petitioner of Petition 97-19 asking <br />that this rezoning request be tabled until the December 18th meeting. He then <br />asked for a motion to table this petition. <br /> <br />Mr. Hobbs MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Dwiggins to table Petition 97-19 until <br />the December 18, 1997 meeting. The 'vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />The Chair introduced the first item <br />Function, Variance Application 128(V): <br /> <br />on the Agenda, Board <br /> <br />of Adjustment <br /> <br />le <br /> <br />Applicant: Peter N. Glass & Associates <br />Request: Variance Application 128(V) <br /> <br />This was. a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning <br />Commission from Mr, Peter N.
