Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes March 20, 1997 7:00 P.M. Mr. Ed Hill, The Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present in addition to the Chair were Mr. Bill Babb, Ms. Monica Davis, Mr. ~Clyde Drye, Mr. Thomas Dwiggins, Mr. Carleton Hobbs, Mr. Walter Kiefer, Mr. Benjamin Lane, Mr. Dewey Moose, and Mr. Aaron Ritchie. Attending from the Planning and Zoning Department were Mr. Jonathan B. Marshall, Planning Services Director, Ms. Linda Giltz, Mr. ~Jay Lowe, Zoning Inspector, and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr. Also' attending was Mr. Richard Koch, Attorney for the Planning and Zoning Commission. There being no corrections to the Minutes, Mr. Ritchie MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Kiefer to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. The Chair said as a procedural point, that any Board member that had questions of a person in the audience, to request that the Chair ask the person to come forward and address the Board from the lectern. If any Board member-has questions of a person already at: the lectern, they are free to direct their questions directly to the person. Old Business The Chair introduced the first item of old business on the Agenda, St. Andrews Place, Phase II-VI: Ii AppliCant: Richard Suggs Request: Preliminary Subdivision. Plat Approval This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission from Mr. Richard Suggs to l~ave his subdivision St. Andrews Place, Phase II-VI plat approved preliminary. Mr. Jonathan B. Marshall Planning Services Director, addressed the Board presenting this preliminary subdivision plat stating St:. Andrews Place, Phase II-VI was' before the Board at their last meeting but there was a request to Table that so they could correct five lots that did not meet the minimum lot size and ~ive Planning, Zoning, and Building Inspection Box 707 .
