NQRTH CAROLIN~ <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes <br />September 15, 1997 <br />7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Mr..Ed Hill Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members <br />present in addition to .the Chair were Mr. Bill Babb, Ms. Monica Davis, Mr. <br />Clyde. Drye, Jr., Mr. Thomas Dwiggins, Mr. Walter Kl~fer, Mr. Dewey Moose, <br />Jr., Mr. Aaron Ritchie, and Mr.. Ric Starnes. Attending from the Planning <br />Services and .Development Services Department were Mr. lonathan B. 'Marshall, <br />Planning Services Director, Mr. Brad Lagano, Senior Planner, Mr. lay Lowe, <br />Zoning Inspector, and Ms. Phyllis C. Cart. Also attending was Mr. Richard <br />Koch, Attorney for the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />The Chair went through the agenda for the. Board members and the citizens. <br /> <br />There being no corrections to the August 21, 1997 Minutes, Mr. Kiefer <br />MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Dwiggins to approve the minutes as mailed. The <br />vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />Old Business <br /> <br />The Chair introduced the first item of old business on the Agenda, Zoning Atlas <br />Amendment, Petition 97-13: <br /> <br />lo <br /> <br />Applicant: Sandy Smith <br />Request: Zoning Atlas Amendment <br /> <br />This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning <br />Commission from Ms. Sandy Smith to have his property located on <br />Mullis Road off Centergrove Road rezoned from Medium Density <br />Residential to Agricultural- Open,' to bring zoning into <br />conformance with existing Uses and allow placement of additional' <br />Class II mobile homes. <br /> <br />Mr. Jonathan B.
