Before the roll call, Mr. Carleton Hobbs, Vice Chair,. introduced Ms. Martha Kiker, our new board member, to the Board. Mr. Carleton Hobbs, Vice Chair, called the meeting m .order at 7:00 p.m. Members present in addition to the Vice Chair were Mr. Clyde Drye, Mr. Thomas Dwiggins, Mr. Walter Kiefer, .Ms..Martha Kiker, Mr. Dewey Moose, Mr. Aaron ~Ritchie, and Mr. Ric. Statues.' Attending from the Planning Services Division were Mr. Jonathan B. Marshall, Director, Mr. Brad Lagano, Senior Planner, Mr. Michael L, Byrd, Transportation Planner and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr. Also attending was Mr. Richard Koch, Attorney for.~the Planning and Zoning Commission. There being no corrections to the May 21, 1998 Minutes, Mr. Ki'efer MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Ritchie to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. New Business The Chair introduced the first item on the Agenda, Zoning Atlas Amendment, Petition C98-09( R)' le APplicant: Mr. Doug Foster Request:. Zoning Atlas Amendment This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and 'Zoning Commission from Mr. Doug Foster to have his property rezoned .from Medium Density Residential to Low Density Residential to construct metal 'building with office front for a small business. Mr. Michael L. Byrd', Transportation Planner, addressed the Board presenting Petition C98-09(R) and staff report, stating one correction which he did not notice, and he apologize for is the petitioner on this rezoning request is Mr. Doug Foster.
