NQRTH CARQLINA <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes <br />January 21, 1999 <br />7'00 P.M. <br /> <br />Mr. Ed Hill Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members <br />present in addition to the Chair were Mr. Clyde Drye, Jr., Mr. Thomas Dwiggins, <br />Mr. Carleton Hobbs, IVlr. Walter Kiefer, Ms. Martha Kiker, lVlr. Dewey Moose, Jr., <br />Mr. Aaron Ritchie and Mr. Ric Starnes. Attending from the Planning and <br />Development Services DMsion were Mr. Jonathan B. Marshall, Plannin~ Services <br />Director, Mr. Michael Downs, Development Services Director, IVlr. Robbie Foxx, m <br />9Zoning InSpector, and Ms. Saundra Adcock. Also attending was Mr. Richard <br />Koch, ^ttorne¥ for the Planning and Zonin§ Commission. <br /> <br />There being no corrections to the December 17, 1998 Minutes, Mr. Kiefer <br />MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Ritchie to approve the minutes as mailed. The <br />vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />The Chair introduced the first item on the Agenda, Board of Adjustment <br />Function, Conditional Use Application 222(C)' <br /> <br />1. Applicant: <br /> Request: <br /> <br />Derek L. Hodge, AIA <br />Conditional Use Application 224(C) <br /> <br />This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning <br />Commission from Derek L. Hodge, AIA for a conditional use <br />application to develop an outdoor recreational facility to include the <br />following activities' golf drivi'ng range, putt-putt miniature golf, <br />baseball batting cages, motorized car track complete with <br />accessories supporting structures for maintenance and control. <br /> <br />The Chair swore in Derek Hodge and Robbie Foxx. <br /> <br />IVlr. Robbie Foxx, Zoning Inspector, addressed the Board presenting <br />Conditional Use Application 224(C) and staff report. Mr. Foxx said <br />he would like to recommend to the Board that approval of this <br />conditional use application be'based on the site complying with all <br /> <br /> Planning Services Division <br /> <br />P.
