~CABARRUS COUNIY~ NORTH CAROtlNA Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes October 20,1994 7:00 P.M. Dr. Nancy H. Randall, Chairperson called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Members present in addition to the Chair were Mr. Thomas Dwiggins, Ms. Janice Harkey, Mr. R. Vernon Jeter, Mr. Gerald Nichols, Mr. Robert Smith, Ms. Katherine Stafford and Mr. Edward Moose. Attending from the Planning, Zoning, and Building Inspection Department were, Mr. Gerald A. Newton, Director, Mr. lonathan B. Marshall, Planner II, Ms. Kimberly Schriefer, Planning Technician, and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr. Also attending was Mr. William Hamby, Jr., Attorney for the Planning and Zoning Commission. The Chair stated that there are two sets of minutes that need the board's action this evening. There being no corrections to the September 15, 1994.~ Minutes, Mr. Jeter MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Dwiggins to approved the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. There being no corrections to the September 29, 1994 Minutes, Ms. Harkey MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Jeter to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. New Business The Chair introduced the first item of new business on the Agenda, Subdivision Exception Request: le Applicant: Ms. Cassandra Hewitt Request: Subdivision Exception Request This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission from Ms. Cassandra Hewitt for a subdivision exception request. Mr. Jonathan Marshall, Planner II, addressed the Board presenting Petition 94-04(S) stating this is a request for an exception from our rule requiring a 45 foot right-of-way to access any currently accessed by a 25 foot right-of-way off of N.C.
