Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes <br />January 21, 1993 <br />7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />PUBLIC MEETING <br /> <br />Dr. Nancy H..Randall, Chairperson, called the' meeting to order at <br />7:00 P.M. Members present in addition to Chairperson Randall were <br />Mr. Alan Allison, Mr' Robert Amos, Dr. David Hartgen, Mr. Howard <br />Hurlocker, Mr. Edward Moose, Mr. Kenneth Olio-Mills, Mr. Robert <br />Smith and Ms. Katherine Stafford. Attending from the Planning, <br />Zoning, Building Inspection Department were Mr. Michael K. Downs, <br />Zoning Administrator, Mr'. Jonathan B. Marshall,. Planner II, Ms.. <br />Sarah W. LaBelle, Transportation Planner and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr. <br />Also attending was Mr. Mike Johnson, Attorney, sitting in for Mr. <br />William Alexander, Attorney fOr the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />There being no corrections to the December 17, 1992 Minutes, Mr. <br />Amos MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Smith to approve the minutes as <br />mailed. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />The Chair said with the approval of the board, she would like to <br />suggest a change in the agenda. She would like to move the last <br />item of business on the agenda to the first item. <br /> <br />The Chair presented the first item on the Agenda, Tranquility <br />Subdivision, Phase IV. <br /> <br />1. Applicant: Austin's Exchange, Inc. <br /> Request :. Final Plat Approval' '~ <br /> <br />This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and <br />Zoning Commission from Austin's Exchange, Inc. to have <br />their subdivision Tranquility, Phase IV plat approved <br />final. <br /> <br />Mr. Jonathan Marshall, Staff Member, presented the final <br />plat and subdivision review to the Board. He stated he <br />would like to note that this is a slight change from what <br />the board approved as a preliminary. He said that was a <br />5 to 6 lot preliminary, but due to soil conditions, they <br />have dropped back to 3 lots.
