NORTH CAROLINA Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes June 17, 1993 7:00 P.M. PUBLIC MEETING Mr. Edward S. Moose, Vice Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present in addition to Mr. Moose were Mr. Robert Amos, Mr. Lewis Brownlow, Dr. David Hartgen, Ms. Janice Harkey, Mr. Jerry Jordan, Mr. Robert Smith and Ms. Katherine Stafford. Attending from'the Planning, Zoning, Building Inspection Department were Mr. Gerald A. Newton, Director, and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr. Also attending was Mr. William G. Hamby, Jr., Attorney for the Planning and Zoning Commission. There being no ~corrections to the May 20, 1993 Minutes, Mr. Smith MOTIONED,.~.seconded by Ms. Harkey to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote 'was ~unanim~ous. The Vice Chair introduced the first item on the Agenda, Preliminary Plat Approval: 1. AppliCant :~ Firczak corporation Request:. preliminary SUbdivision Plat Approval This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission from Firczak Corporation to have their subdivision Dove Field preliminary subdivision plat approved. Mr. Gerald Newton, Director, stated to the Board that he will be presenting the subdivision reviews and staff reports prepared by Mr. Jonathan Marshall, Planner II and later by Mr. Mike Downs, Zoning Administrator. Mr. Newton said there are f~our subdivisions coming before the board tonight. Mr. Newton said Dove Field is a subdivision which was approved as a preliminary and also as a final. However, the time period expired on the final and it was not recorded.
