[CABARRUS COUN.. , J <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />Cabarrus <br /> <br />County Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> June 18, 1992 <br /> 7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Minutes <br /> <br />Dr. Nancy Randall, Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 7'00 <br />p.m. In addition to Chairperson Randall were Mr. Alan Allison, Dr. <br />David Hartgen, Mr. Howard Hurlocker, Mr. Edward Moose, Mr. Kenneth <br />Olio-Mills, Mr. Dennis Shultz, Mr. Robert Smith and Ms. Katherine <br />Stafford. Attending from the Planning, Zoning and Building <br />Inspection Department were Mr. Gerald A. Newton, Director, Mr. <br />Michael Downs, Zoning Administrator, Mr. Jonathan Marshall, and Ms. <br />Phyllis C. Carr. <br /> <br />There being no corrections to the May 21, 1992 Minutes, Mr. Moose <br />MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Hurlocker to approve the minutes as · <br />mailed. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />Chairperson Randall introduced the first 'item on the <br />Preliminary Plat Approval - The Woodlands I: <br /> <br />Agenda, <br /> <br />1. 6Lpplicant: Southern Land Equities. <br /> Request- Preliminary plat. Approval <br /> <br />This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and <br />Zoning Commission from Southern Land Equities to have <br />their subdivision plat The Woodlands I, approved <br />preliminary. <br /> <br />Mr. Jonathan Marshall, Staff Member, presented the <br />subdivision review of The Woodlands I preliminary plat to <br />the board for preliminary approval stating that the <br />rezoning of this property was approved Monday night by <br />the Commissioners, and the staff recommends-approval of <br />phase I. <br /> <br />There being no further discussion, Mr. Smith MOTIONED, <br />seconded by Mr. Huriocker to approve The Woodlands I <br />subdivision plat preliminary.
