NOfITft Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission February 20, 1991 7'02 P.M. PUBLIC MEETING Before the meeting began, Mr. David T. Hartgen, Commission, was sworn in By ~agistrate, l~lr. C.M. Tarlton. Ms. Nancy Randall, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 7.02 P.M. l~lembors prosent in addition to Chairman Randall wore Mr. Robert T. Amos, Ms. Doris ~. Barbee, ~r. David T. Hartgen, ~r. Howard R. Hurlocker, l~r. Edward S. Moose, l~lr. Kennoth Olio-Mills, and ~r. Dennis C. Shultz. Attendin~ from the Plannin.g and Zonin~ Dopartment were Mr. Jonathan B. Marshall, Ms. Sue G. Russell and ~s. Phyllis C. Carr. Also attending as the Attorney for the Piannin~ and Zoning Commission was l~Ir. Starkey Sharp. With there bein.g no corrections to the November 28, 1990 Plannin~ Board l~linutes, Mr. Ollo-l~lills MOTIONED, second, od by Mr. l~oose the approve the minutes as amended. The .vote was unanimous. Thore being no corrections to the December 19, 1990 Planning Board ~inUtes, Mr. Hurlocker ~OTIONED, seconded by Mr. Amos to approve the minute, s as mailed. Tho vote was unanimous. There being no corrections to the January 3, 1991 Board of Adjustment Minutes, Mr. Shultz MOTIONED, seconded by Ms. Barbee to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. There being no corrections to the January 16, 1991 planning and Zoning Commission Minutes, Mr. ~{oose MOTIONED~ seconded by Mr. Amos to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. There being no corrections to the January 30, 1991 Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes, Mr. Amos MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Shultz to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. New Business Chairman Randall stated to the citizens that the Planning and .Zoning Commission is an advisory Commission and they only make recommendations to the County Commissioners on rezonings, the County Commissioners will discuss all issues on March 25, 1991, at 7-00 P.M., and they will make all decisions on rezonings. Chairman Randall introduced the first item on the Agenda, Zoning Atlas Amendment.
