The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ms. Nancy Randall. Members present in addition to Ms. Randall were Mr. HOward Hurlocker, Mr. Edward Moose, Mr' Gerald Nichols and Mr. Louis Suther. Attending from the Planning Department were Mr. Jonathan B.-Marshall and Mr. Mike Byrd. Also attending were Mr. Gordon L. Belo, Attorney for the ~planning Board, and Mr. Mike Downs, Zoning Administra~tor. With there being no corrections to the February 21, 1990 Minutes, Mr. Suther MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Hurlock.er to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. _Petition 90-02. Section 3.2-4, Schedule of Use Regulations. Purpose of Change- To create a line item for the repair of small engines, such as; lawnmowers, chainsaws, small generators, etc. A-2 A- I ARR C- 3 C-'4 ¢ -~- -~- ,-~-- Petition 90-03. Section 9.7-3, Automobile Repair Garages. Purpose of Change. To accommodate the requested line item "Small Engine Repair Shop."' Change Section 9.7-3 to' Small Engine Repair Shops. Automobile Repair Garages and Mr. Mike Downs, Zoning Administrator, addressed the Board on behalf 'of petitions 90-02 and 90-03, stating there is no line item for small engine repair in the current zoning ordinance. Mr. Downs also stated that these text revisions would allow small engine repair and auto repair to meet -the same conditional use permit requirement, s. After discussion Mr. Moose MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Nichols to approve petitions 90-02 and 90-03 zoning text amendments. The vote was unanimous.
