Attending from the Planning Department <br />were Mr. James F. Owens, Planning Director, Mr. Mike Byrd, <br />Mr. Jonathan B. Marshall and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr. <br />A1 so attending was Mr Gordon L. Belo, Attorney for the <br />Planning Boa rd. <br /> <br />With there being no' corrections to the. January 18, 1989 <br />Minutes, Mr. Page MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Suther to <br />approve the minutes as mailed. The vote. was unanimous. <br /> <br />Mr. Byrd addressed the Board about Petition 89-01, <br />Section 3.12, Watershed Overlay (WSO) Distri'ct. <br /> <br />Purpose of Change' To bring Watershed Overlay. District <br />into compliance with State requirements for watershed <br />protection policies. <br /> <br />le <br /> <br />Delete Coldwater Creek from the listed watersheds. <br />After "Shall meet the following requirement"' <br />Delete in number 1. "When served by individual wells <br />or, septic tanks" <br />Delete in number 2. "When served by individual wells <br />or septic tanks" <br />Del ete number 3 total ly. <br /> <br />After di~scussion Ms. Randall MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. <br />Nichols to approve Petition 89-01, Section .3.12 zoning <br />text amendment. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />Mr. Ewan stated to the Citizens that the Planning Board <br />is an advisory committee and they only make recommendations <br />to the County Commissioners. <br /> <br /> <br />
