Commissioners Room of the Cabarrus County-CourthOuse. <br /> <br />Roll Call- The meeting was called to order by Chairman F.A. "Jack" <br /> Rankin,' Jr. Members present in addition to Mr. Rankin <br /> were Mr. R.M. Faggart, Jr., ~r.. Larry Loving and Mr <br /> Ronald Page. Attending from the .Planning Department: were <br /> Mr.. Thomas B. Robinson, Planning Director, Mr. Mike <br /> BYrd and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr. <br /> <br />Approval/Correction <br />of Mi nutes. <br /> <br />New Business <br />Jack & Fannie <br />Parrish Rezoning <br />R-15 to C-l- <br /> <br />Wi th there being no corrections to. the May !4, 1986 <br />Minutes, Mr. Faggart MOT,IONED,. seconded by Mr. Loving <br />to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />Petition 86-15, was a request by Jack & Fannie Mae Parrish, <br />~-f~'-~t Road to have thei.r property rezoned from <br />R-15 to C-l, to bring existing 'use into conformance. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Irvin addressed the Board on behalf of Jack <br />& Fannie Mae ParriSh stating that there were certain <br />improvements made on the store (Beaver's) at the corner <br />of Poplar Tent Road and Rock Hill Church Road, and the <br />Parrish's had no knowledge of the improvements that were <br />made. . <br /> <br />Mrs. Fannie Parrish and Mr. Morton also spoke to the Board <br />on behalf of this petition. <br /> <br />After discussion Mr. Faggart MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. <br />Loving to approve petiti.on 86-15 from R-15 to C-1 <br />The vote was unanimous. ' <br /> <br />Board of Light & <br />Water/Ci ty of <br />Concord Rezoni ng <br />ARR to A-I. <br /> <br />Mr. Rankin stated to the citizen's that the Planning Board <br />is an advisory committee and only makes recommendations <br />to the County Commissioners on rezonings. The' County <br />Commissioners will discuss all issues on Thursday, July 10, <br />1986, at 7'00 P.M. and they wil'l make the final deci~sions <br />as to rezoning. <br /> <br />~-~ -Petiti°n .... ~86.-16, was a request, by the Board of Light & Water/ <br /> ity of COncord, off Breezy Lane to have their property <br />rezoned from ARR to A-I, to allow expansion of existing <br />sludge landfil 1 at treatment plant. <br /> <br /> <br />
