NORTH CAROLINA 28025 ~arch 13, 1985 Minutes of the Cabarrus County Planning Board The Cabarrus County Planning Board met in regular session on March 1~3, 1985, at 7:00 p.m.i.n the County Commissioners Room of the Cabarrus County Courthouse. Roll Call' The meeting was called to order by Chairman, F.A. "Jack" Rankin, Jr. at. 7-00 p.m. Members present in addition to Mr. Rankin were Mr. R.M. Fagg'art, Jr.,~ Ms. Helene Hilger, Mr. Larry Loving' and Mr'. Joe Ridenhour. Attending from the Planning Department were Mr. Thomas B. Robinson, Planning Director, Mr. Mike Byrd and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr. Commissioner Kenneth Payne, Liaison to the Planning Board and Mr. Gordon L. Belo, Attorney for the Planning Board were also present. Approval of ~'li nutes ' With,~.:there being no corrections to the February 13, 1985 Minutes, Ms. Hi lger MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Fag~gart to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. There being no correcti~ons to the February 20, 1985 Minutes, Mr. Loving MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Faggart to approve the minutes as mailed. T.he vote was unanimous. Old Business Public Use Public Cultural Fac i 1 i ty' New Business Branchwood Farms, Phase I I- Brandywood Acres' Mr. Robinson addressed the Board about the definition of Public Use-and Public Cultural Facility stating Ms. Mosley wants to put in a private non-profit organization; after school day care so the kinds can have a place after school to.go to. After discussi.on Mr. Faggart MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Ridenhour to approve Branchwood Farms, Phase II subdivision plat final. The vote was unanimous. The next item on the agenda for preliminary subdivision plat approval was Brandywood Acres - Howard Hurl ocker. After discussion Mr. Ridenhour MOTIONED to approve Brandywood Acres subdivision plat preliminary, dated February, 1985 lots 1-7 wi'th permission to issue one (1)
