County Planning. Board met in regular session the Planning Department's Conference Room in on July 17, 1985, at the Cabarrus County Roll Call: The meeting was called to order by Chairman F.A. ".Jack" Rankin, Jr. Members present in addition to Mr. Rankin were Mr. R.M. Faggart, Jr. and Mr. Larry Loving. Attending from the Planning Department were Mr. James F. Owens, Assistant Planning Director, Mr Mike Byrd and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr. Approval of Minutes · New B us i ness Extension Req ues t: Zemos a Acres Phase, IV: Niblock Park: Industrial With there being no corrections to the June 12, 1985 Minutes, Mr. Loving MOTIONE.D, seconded by Mr. Faggart to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. With there being no correct~.ons to the June 19, 1985 Min'Utes, Mr. Loving MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Faggart to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. Mr. Owens addressed the Board stating that Zemosa.Acres, Phlase IV, would like for the Board to grant them a six (6) month extension because of the. moratorium that was put on the waste treatment plant and due to the fact they do not have their roads paved. After discussion Mr. Loving MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Rankin to grant a six~(6) month extension for Zemosa Acres, Phase IV. The vote was unanimous. Mr. Owens addressed the Board about Niblock Industrial Park stating that they would like for the Board to grant them a thirty (30) day extension because they had the wrong gravel base for an industrial road. After discussion Mr. Loving .MOTIONED, second'ed by Mr. Faggart to grant a thirty (30) day extension for Niblock Industrial Park. The vote was un animous. Harris Woods Subdivision- Mr. Owens addressed the Board about Harris Woods subdivision stating that they would like for the Board to grant them a sixty (60) day extension because the construction workers are currently under way to complete the development of the subject property referring to sub-grading, paving, grassing and shouldering of ditches.
