Board met in regular session <br />the Planning Department's Conference Room in <br /> <br />on July 17, 1985, at <br />the Cabarrus County <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman F.A. ".Jack" <br />Rankin, Jr. Members present in addition to Mr. Rankin <br />were Mr. R.M. Faggart, Jr. and Mr. Larry Loving. Attending <br />from the Planning Department were Mr. James F. Owens, <br />Assistant Planning Director, Mr Mike Byrd and Ms. Phyllis C. <br />Carr. <br /> <br />Approval of <br />Minutes · <br /> <br />New B us i ness <br />Extension <br />Req ues t: <br />Zemos a Acres <br />Phase, IV: <br /> <br />Niblock <br />Park: <br /> <br />Industrial <br /> <br />With there being no corrections to the June 12, 1985 <br />Minutes, Mr. Loving MOTIONE.D, seconded by Mr. Faggart <br />to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />With there being no correct~.ons to the June 19, 1985 <br />Min'Utes, Mr. Loving MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Faggart <br />to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />Mr. Owens addressed the Board stating that Zemosa.Acres, <br />Phlase IV, would like for the Board to grant them a six (6) <br />month extension because of the. moratorium that was put <br />on the waste treatment plant and due to the fact they <br />do not have their roads paved. <br /> <br />After discussion Mr. Loving MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. <br />Rankin to grant a six~(6) month extension for Zemosa <br />Acres, Phase IV. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />Mr. Owens addressed the Board about Niblock Industrial Park <br />stating that they would like for the Board to grant them <br />a thirty (30) day extension because they had the wrong <br />gravel base for an industrial road. <br /> <br />After discussion Mr. Loving .MOTIONED, second'ed by Mr. <br />Faggart to grant a thirty (30) day extension for Niblock <br />Industrial Park. The vote was un animous. <br /> <br />Harris Woods <br />Subdivision- <br /> <br />Mr. Owens addressed the Board about Harris Woods subdivision <br />stating that they would like for the Board to grant them a <br />sixty (60) day extension because the construction workers <br />are currently under way to complete the development of <br />the subject property referring to sub-grading, paving, <br />grassing and shouldering of ditches. <br /> <br /> <br />
