CABARRUS COUNTY Post Office Box 707 CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA 28025 May' 9, !984 Cabarrus County Planning Board .Meeting The Cabarrus County Planning Board met in regular session on Wednesday, May 9, 1984, at 7-05 p.m. in the County Commissioners Room of the Cabarrus County Courthouse. Roll Call' The meeting was called to order by Chairman, F.A. "Jack" Rankin, Jr., at 7:05 p.m. Members present in addition to Mr. Ran'kin were Mr' John Cline, Ms. Helene Hilger and Mr. Larry Loving. Attending-from the Planning Department were Mr. Thomas B. Robinson, 'Planning Director, Mr. Mike Byrd and Ms. Phyllis C. Cart, Secretary to the Planning Board. Commissioner Kenneth Payne, !iaison to the Planning Board and Mr. Gordon Belo, Attorney for the Planning Board were also present. Approval of The Minutes of the April ll, 1984 Planning Board meeting were Minutes' " approved after' the correction was made about Mr. Luis Al-varez, Petition 84'-04, rezoning. The correction should show Mr. Loving MOTI~ONED to deny Mr. A!varez rezoning instead of .Mr. Ridenhour, then seconded by Mr. Ridenhour not Mr. Loving. Mr. Loving MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Cline to approve the Minutes after this correction was made. The vote was unanimous. With no corrections to the April 18, 1984 Planning Board MinU~es, Ms. Hilger MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Loving to approve the M~nutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. Ne~ Business The first item on the agenda for preliminary approval was Preliminary Cripple Creek, Section II, Kiser-Beaver Realty. After Plat discussion, Ms. Hi.lger MOTIONED to approve Cripple Creek, Cripple Creek, Section II and allow the issuance of two (.2) permits prior Section II' to final approval, seconded by Mr. Cline. The vote was unanimous. Final Plat The next item on the agenda was approval of the final plat for Mareba Heights' Mareba Heights, M.L. Coggins. After discussion, Mr. 'Loving- MOTIONED to approve Mareba Heights with a special provision in this case only that a dirt road be approved because it was referred to in 1950 as evidence by a letter and a copy of a deed from DOT presented to the Board, seconded by Mr. Cl'ine. The Board also requested that the restriction of individual well use only be placed on the final plat. The' vote was unanimous.
