CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> Post Office Box 707 <br />CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA 28025 <br /> <br />May' 9, !984 <br /> <br />Cabarrus County Planning Board .Meeting <br /> <br />The Cabarrus County Planning Board met in regular session on Wednesday, May 9, 1984, <br />at 7-05 p.m. in the County Commissioners Room of the Cabarrus County Courthouse. <br /> <br />Roll Call' The meeting was called to order by Chairman, F.A. "Jack" Rankin, <br /> Jr., at 7:05 p.m. Members present in addition to Mr. Ran'kin <br /> were Mr' John Cline, Ms. Helene Hilger and Mr. Larry Loving. <br /> Attending-from the Planning Department were Mr. Thomas B. <br /> Robinson, 'Planning Director, Mr. Mike Byrd and Ms. Phyllis C. <br /> Cart, Secretary to the Planning Board. Commissioner Kenneth <br /> Payne, !iaison to the Planning Board and Mr. Gordon Belo, <br /> Attorney for the Planning Board were also present. <br /> <br />Approval of The Minutes of the April ll, 1984 Planning Board meeting were <br />Minutes' " approved after' the correction was made about Mr. Luis Al-varez, <br /> Petition 84'-04, rezoning. The correction should show Mr. <br /> Loving MOTI~ONED to deny Mr. A!varez rezoning instead of .Mr. <br /> Ridenhour, then seconded by Mr. Ridenhour not Mr. Loving. <br /> Mr. Loving MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Cline to approve the <br /> Minutes after this correction was made. The vote was unanimous. <br /> With no corrections to the April 18, 1984 Planning Board MinU~es, <br /> Ms. Hilger MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Loving to approve the <br /> M~nutes as mailed. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br /> Ne~ Business The first item on the agenda for preliminary approval was <br /> Preliminary Cripple Creek, Section II, Kiser-Beaver Realty. After <br /> Plat discussion, Ms. Hi.lger MOTIONED to approve Cripple Creek, <br /> Cripple Creek, Section II and allow the issuance of two (.2) permits prior <br /> Section II' to final approval, seconded by Mr. Cline. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br /> Final Plat The next item on the agenda was approval of the final plat for <br /> Mareba Heights' Mareba Heights, M.L. Coggins. After discussion, Mr. 'Loving- <br /> MOTIONED to approve Mareba Heights with a special provision <br /> in this case only that a dirt road be approved because it was <br /> referred to in 1950 as evidence by a letter and a copy of a <br /> deed from DOT presented to the Board, seconded by Mr. Cl'ine. <br /> The Board also requested that the restriction of individual <br /> well use only be placed on the final plat.
