"Jack" Rankin, Jr. <br /> at 7-00 p.m. Members present 'in addition to Mr. Rankin were, <br /> Mr. John Cline, Mr. Larry Loving and Mr. Joe Ridenhour. Attending <br /> from the Planning Department werelMr. Thomas B. Robinson, Planning <br /> Director, Mr. Mike Byrd and Ms. Phyllis C. Cacr, Secretary to <br /> the Board. -Also present was Mr. Gordon Belo, Attorney for the <br /> Planning Board. <br /> Mr. Joe Ridenhour MOT'IONED, seconded by Mr. Cline to approve the <br /> June 13, 1984 Minutes a'fter a correction was made on page 2, 7th <br /> paragraph, Mr. Cline and Mr. Rankin dissented instead of Mr. <br /> Ridenhour,'Ms. Hil~ger and Mr. Rankin' The lv.ote was-unanimous.. <br /> <br />Mr. Larry Loving MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Joe Ridenhour to <br />approve the June 20, 1984 Mi nu.tes after a correction was made <br />on page 2, paragraph 4 to strike procedures replacing Mobile <br />Homes from the minutes and include as a separate memo, and also <br />delete park. The vote was unanimous. <br />The first item on the agenda for preliminary approval was Harris <br />Woods, Phase I, Mr. David B. McCord. After discussion, Mr. <br />Loving MOTIONED to approve Harris Woods, phase I with issuance <br />of two (2) septic tank/building permits, seconded by Mr. Cline. <br />The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />The next item on the agenda for preliminary approval was Country <br />View-Mobile-Home Park, Mr. Earl Finster. After discu.ssion, <br />Mr' Ridenhour MOTIONED'to approve Cou-ntry View 'Mobile Hom'e Park <br />with these stipulations for final approval (1) An exact determination <br />of the 100 year flood l~ine be made for this property, (2) No <br />spaces shall be placed within the floodway or less than one (1) <br />foot. above t'he 100 year flood line and (3) The Engineer shall <br />certify that filling within'the 100 year floodway fringe line <br />will increase the 100 year floodway elevation by no more than <br />one (1) foot, seconded by Mr. Loving. The ~7ote was unanimous. <br /> <br />The last item on the agenda for preliminary approval was Terrace <br />Ridge, Alan F. Goodman. After l'eng.thy discussion, Mr. Ridenhour <br />MOTIONED to deny Terrace Ridge, seconded by Mr. Cline. The vote <br />was unanimous. The plat was denied because two lots had less <br />than the average wi. dth required by the Zoning Ordinance and because <br />two wells planned for community water supply were on lots to be <br />sold for housing development, rahter than being platted on separate <br /> <br />lots. <br /> <br /> <br />
