NORTH CAROLINA 28025 <br /> <br />October 17, ! 9.84 <br /> <br />Minutes of the Cabarrus County Planning Board <br /> <br />The Cabarrus County Planning Board met in regular session on October 17, 1984, at <br />7-00 p.m. in the County'Commissioners Room of the Cabarrus County Courthouse. <br />Roll Call' The m'eeting was called to order by Chairman, F.A. "Jack" <br /> Rankin, Jr. Members present in addition to Mr. Rankin were <br /> Mr. 'R.M. Faggart, Jr., Mr. Larry Loving. Attending from <br /> the Planning Department were, Mr. Thomas B. Robinson, Planning <br /> Director, Mr. James F. Owens, Assistant Planning Director, <br /> Mr. Mike Byrd and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr, Secretary to the .Board. <br /> Mr. Gordon Belo, Attorney for the Planning Board was also <br /> present. <br /> <br /> Approval of With no. corrections to the September 12, 1984 Minutes, Mr. <br /> Minutes: Loving MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Rankin that the Minutes <br /> ~ be approved as mailed. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br /> New Busine~ss' The first item on the agenda for preliminary approval was <br /> Preli'minary Prospect Po.int, MBN, Inc. After discus~si'on, Mr. Faggart <br /> Plat MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Loving to approve Prospect Point <br /> Prospect contingent on lot 13 being corrected before final approval <br /> Point' wi'th issuance of six (6) building permits. The vote was <br /> unanimous. <br /> <br />Prelim ina ry <br />Snipes-Cook <br />Subdivision' <br /> <br />Pre! iminary <br />Plat <br />Cannon <br />Property' <br /> <br />The next item on the agenda for preliminary approval was <br />Snipes-Cook Subdivision, Stephen Snipes and James Cook. <br />After discussion, Mr. Faggart MOT I ON ED ,~to approve Snipes-Cook <br />Subdivision, seconded by Mr. Loving With issuance of two (2) <br />~building permits. The vote was unanimous. <br />Next on the agenda for preliminary approval were three (3) <br />Cannon Holding Corporation maps. As all these maps contained <br />only lots with existing road frontage on a state maintained <br />road, fi'nal approv'al was also issued. The first map was <br /> SE Section 4. After discussion, Mr. Loving MOTIONED, seconded <br /> by Mr. Faggart to issue preliminary approval for SE Section 4. <br /> The vote was unanimous. Mr. Loving MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. <br /> Faggart to issue final approval for SE. Section 4. The vote <br /> was unanimous. Seco'nd, SE Section 2 Revision. After-discussion, <br /> Mr. Loving MOTIONED, second'ed by Mr. Faggart to issue preli.minary <br /> approval for SE Secti~on 2 Revision. The vote was unanimous. <br /> Mr. Loving MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Faggart to issue final <br /> approval for SE Section 2 Revision. The vote was unanimous <br /> <br /> <br />
