NORTIt C,~ROLINA <br />Planning.and Zoning Commission Minutes <br />November 16, 2000 <br />7'00 P.M. <br /> <br />Mr. Ed Hill, Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 7'00 p.m. Members <br />present in addition to the Chair were Mr. Clyde D~e, Jr., Mr. Thomas Dwiggins, <br />Mr. Carl Hill, Mr. carleton Hobbs, Ms. Martha Kiker, .Mr. Steven Love, Mr. Dewey <br />Moose, Jr., and Mr. Aaron Ritchie. Attending from the Planning Services Division <br />were Mr. Michael ~L. Byrd, Transportation Planner,. Ms. Kelly Siffo. rd, Senior <br />Planner and Ms. Phyllis C. Carr. Also attending was Mr. Richard Koch, Attorney <br />for the Planning and Zoning COmmission. <br /> <br />There being no corrections to the October 19, 20.0-0 Minutes, Mr. <br />MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. Dwiggins to approve the minutes as mailed. <br />vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />Drye <br />The <br /> <br />The Chair went order, the Agenda with the Board and the citizens. <br /> <br />The Chair introduced the first item on the Agenda, Right-Of-Way Exception <br />Request' <br /> <br />Applicant: 3immy &3ennifer Morris <br />Request: Right-Of-Way Exception Re,ii'est <br />This was a .request to the Cabarrus County Planning 'and Zoning <br />Commission from Jimmy & Jennifer Morris for a right-of-way- <br />exception request' from the CabarruS County Subdivision <br />_Reoulations. <br /> <br />Mr. Michael L. Byrd, Transportation Planner, addressed the Board <br />presenting the right-of-way exception. He stated he has been <br />working with the Morris' on and off for two or three months, ~and <br />they have not been able to come to any solution,;' to their problem. <br />Mr. Byrd said they .want to build, on the tracts'of land, which is <br />approximately 20 acres. 'He said they do not ~have a 45-foot right- <br />of-way back to the property. The property is 20.01 feet wide going <br /> <br /> Planning Services Division <br />P. O.
