NORTR CAROLINA Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes February !7, 2000 7:00 P.M. The Planning.a.nd' Zoning Commission meeting was called to. o'rder by IVir. .lonathan B. Marshall, Planning Services Director, at 7:05 p.m. for election of officers. The floor was opened for nominees for Chairman. Mr. Ritchie nominated Mr. Ed Hill, seconded by Mr. Noose. Hr. Dwiggins MOTIONED to close the nomination, seconded by Mr. Ritchie. The vote was unanimous. Hr. IVlarshall said by acclamation Mr. Ed Hill, Chair, Cabarrus County planning and Zoning Commission. Mr. 'Marshall turned the meeting over to the Chair, Mr. Ed Hill. The Chair opened the floor for nominations of ViCe Chair. Mr. Drye nominated Mr. Carleton Hobbs, seconded by Mr. Dwiggins. Mr. Ritchie MOTIONED, seconded by Mr. MoOse to close the nomination. /he vote was unanimous. Hr, Cadeton Hobbs,. Vice Chair, Ca.barrus Coun¢ Plannin§ and Zonin§ Commission. IVlembers present in addition to the Chair and Vice Chair were IVir. Clyde Drye, Jr., Mr. Thomas Dwiggins, Mr. Carl Hill, Ms. Martha Kiker, Hr. Steven Love, Mr. .Dewey Moose, Jr., and Mr. Aaron Ritchie. Attending from the. Planning ServiCes Division were Mr. Jonathan .B. Marshall, Planning Services Director, Mr. Eddie Moore, Senior Planner, and IVls. Phyllis C. Carr. Also. attending was Mr. Richard Koch, Attorney for the Planning and Zoning Commission. The Chair .said he would like to recognize in the audience, Seamon Dwiggins who is earning his Herit Badge for citizenship, and communiW. The Chair said. he would like to welcome to the Board tonight two new members, Mr. Carl Hill, and Mr. Steven Love. He said Mr. Dewey Moose, Jr., and Mr. Clyde Drye, Jr., have been re-appointed by the Commissioners for second terms. There being no corrections to the January 20, 2000 Minutes, Hr.
