CABARRUS COUNTY <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes <br />May 17, 2001 <br />7:00 P.M, <br /> <br />Mr. Carleton Hobbs, Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Members present in addition to the Chair were Mr. Danny Benton, Mr. Clyde <br />Drye, Jr., Mr. Thomas Dwiggins, Mr. Carl Hill, Ms. Miki Lingafelt, Mr. Dewey <br />Moose, Jr., Mr. Aaron Ritchie and Mr. J. Marc Wilder. Attending from the <br />Planning and Development Service Divisions were Mr. ]ay Lowe, Senior Zoning <br />inspector and Phyllis C. Carr. Also attending was Mr. Richard Koch, Attorney for <br />the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />There being no corrections to the April 19, 2001 Minutes, Mr. Drye MOTIONED, <br />seconded by Mr. Ritchie to approve the minutes as mailed. The vote was <br />unanimous. <br /> <br />Old Business <br /> <br />Board of Adjustment Functions: <br /> <br />The Chair stated to the Board that Item B on the Agenda, Conditional Use <br />Application 264(C), SBA Towers, has been withdrawn. <br /> <br />The Chair introduced the first item on the Agenda Variance Application 139(V): <br /> <br />Applicant: Mr. Tim Parker <br />Request: Variance Application 139(V) <br /> <br />This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning <br />Commission from Mr. Tim Parker for a variance that would allow <br />relief from the required setbacks in the Cabarrus County Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />The Vice Chair swore in Mr. Tim Parker and Mr. Jay Lowe. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
