MINUTES <br />SUPERVISORS MEETING <br />CABARRUS SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />MEETING NO. 46 <br />TIME: July 11, 1966 <br />PLACE: District Office <br />8:00 a.m. to 9:55 a.m. <br />PRESENT: Supervisors: <br />L. D. Coltrane, III <br />J. Lewis Patterson <br />S. I. Parker <br />S. W. Colerider, Jr. <br />Absent: <br />Baker Brooks <br />e, <br />Assistant Supervisors: <br />Clyde D. Cook <br />W. E. Cook <br />C. C. Rimer <br />J. Archie Smith <br />Absent: <br />J. L. Cochran <br />Marvin K. Smith <br />1. The Chairman introduced Max Hurlocker, our representative at the <br />1966 Resources Conservation Workshop. Max gave a very interesting <br />report of the work accomplished at the Workshop this year. He <br />reported that each member of tht Workshop attend class and field <br />trip instruction. At the completion of the course, an examination <br />was given to all members of the class in order to determine the <br />effectiveness of the instruction and the individual rating of the <br />students. Prizes were given for accomplishment. Our represent- <br />ative tied for second place, in a class of approximately seventy -five <br />and was given a cash prize of $25.00. The members of the Board <br />thanked Max for the good job he had done in representing our <br />District. <br />2. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved with one correction. <br />3.
