MINUTES SUPERVISORS MEETING CABARRUS SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT MEETING NO. 46 TIME: July 11, 1966 PLACE: District Office 8:00 a.m. to 9:55 a.m. PRESENT: Supervisors: L. D. Coltrane, III J. Lewis Patterson S. I. Parker S. W. Colerider, Jr. Absent: Baker Brooks e, Assistant Supervisors: Clyde D. Cook W. E. Cook C. C. Rimer J. Archie Smith Absent: J. L. Cochran Marvin K. Smith 1. The Chairman introduced Max Hurlocker, our representative at the 1966 Resources Conservation Workshop. Max gave a very interesting report of the work accomplished at the Workshop this year. He reported that each member of tht Workshop attend class and field trip instruction. At the completion of the course, an examination was given to all members of the class in order to determine the effectiveness of the instruction and the individual rating of the students. Prizes were given for accomplishment. Our represent- ative tied for second place, in a class of approximately seventy -five and was given a cash prize of $25.00. The members of the Board thanked Max for the good job he had done in representing our District. 2. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved with one correction. 3.
