Mr. Coltrane asked if there were any corrections to be made in the minutes of the <br />January meeting. No corrections. Minutes approved. <br />3. Chairman's Report: <br />A. Mr. Coltrane expressed sympathy for himself and the members present concerning <br />the loss of Mr. Leroy Cochran's Son -In -Law and to Mr. Fred Harkey in the loss <br />of his sister. <br />b. Chairman Coltrane greeted Mr. Elmer Graham, Asst. State Conservationist and <br />Mr. Lewis Dameron, Area Conservationist, who was visiting with us during the <br />day and at this meeting. <br />c. Mr. Elmer Graham brought us greetings from the State office and promised to <br />pay us a visit in the near future and bring our new State Conservationist, <br />Mr. Charles W. Bartlett, whom the Board would be very pleased to meet. <br />d. Chairman Coltrane introduced Mr. Don Howell and his assistant, Mr. Bobby <br />Baucom and turned a brief portion of the meeting over to Mr. Howell. Mr. <br />Baucom, along with Mr. Howell's explanations, showed a series of slides <br />that were narrated and were very informative to the members present concerning <br />the local Water, Electric and Sewerage.problems and what had to be done for <br />the City of Concord if the community was to continue to grow. <br />4. Treasurer's Report: <br />A. There were no disbursements of credits during the month of January. <br />Cash in Bank 2 -1 -68 <br />$1727.92 <br />b. A motion was made and unaminously passed that the Treasurer pay the Annual <br />District Dues of $109.00. <br />c. A motion was passed authorizing the Treasurer to pay the District office <br />$20.00 to be used for postage. <br />
