Chairman ts Report <br />a. Hr. Coltrane sent information to tue ustrict urrico concerning tne <br />Area 3 Fall meeting to be held in Salisbury, October 29, 1968. A <br />notice sent by Dgar A Cress, Chairman of Area 3, N. C. Association, <br />Soil I Water Conservation Districts, asked that the Board of Supervisors <br />send to him, as soon as possible, the number of persons expected to <br />attend the Fall meeting. <br />b. Hr. Coltrane served as Chairman of a co to select the most <br />outstanding Conservation work done by the jr. Womens' Club in the <br />local Listrict. <br />The Committee selected the Kannapolis Nomens' Club to receive the <br />E. C. Federation of 1 4`6 - ruensl Club %strict Award. <br />4. Treasurorts Report: <br />a. 9-1-68 CASH IN BANK $17 <br />9-20-68 Check for District Postage $20.00 <br />9-20-68 Deposited price money from County Fair 30.00 <br />10 -1-6a CASH IN BAA 1 1731-8 2 <br />$1751-8 S1751- <br />b. A motion was made and unanimously passed that the Treasurer pay the <br />bills incurred during the Educational Project Conservation Tour. <br />Our District Conservationist made the following report for the month of SEPTELBER: <br />12 Radio Programs <br />7C Cooperators assisted (*o-ith 24 first visits this year) <br />3 Agreements signed (165 acres) <br />hr. Price reported that during the month of September, the Conservation Soil <br />and Water display was set up at the Cabarrus County Fair and received 3rd <br />n1ace winner. <br />
