Chairman Coltrane called the meeting to order. <br />2. ldnutes of the last meeting were approved. <br />3. Chairman's Report: <br />OTHERS: <br />HuZh D. Price <br />Eyvonne 6. McDaniel <br />a. Hr. Coltrane reported that Vice-Chairman, J. Louis Patterson presented <br />a certificate to Hr, John T. EcClure designating him as CONSERTATION <br />FAHVER OF THE YEAR of the Cabarrus Soil and Jator Conservation District, <br />The certificate was awarded to Mr. McClure, October 10, 1968. The <br />outstanding work done by Ar. McClure has shown, through evidence of <br />his farm, the excellent practices he has carried out by using <br />Conservation knowledge and his progress of reaping the results of good <br />Conservation of Soil and Water on his farm. <br />b. it was reported that letters had been saii to those individuals - vho <br />cooperated so enthusiastically during the seventh grade Conservation <br />tour pro ,a2 sponsored by the District Supervisors. <br />c;. Hr. Coltrane reported that forms were mailed to the State office, <br />October 30, 1968 for: <br />(1) Nominee of Supervisor for election <br />(2) ae-appointment of Supervisors <br />d, A letter was read from Mr. C. W. Bartlett, State Conservationist, <br />enprossing his interest for the work done by the District Supervisors <br />in working with Soil e: "ilater Conservation. <br />4.
