Chairman Coltrane called the meeting to order. <br />2. Minutes of the August meeting were approved. <br />3. Chairman's Report: <br />a. Chairman Coltrane welcomed Dr. Brown McAllister and the <br />Watershed Commissioners to the meeting. <br />b. Chairman Coltrane read a letter dated August 21, 1969 from <br />H. A. Smith about the Special Television Program on Air Pollution <br />which would probably be shown on Channel 12 on Friday, September <br />12, 1969 from 7:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. <br />co Two excellent publications on Forests and Trees was reviewed <br />by those at the meeting. <br />4. Treasurer's Report: <br />a. 8-1-69 NET CASH IN BANK 1814.94 <br />8-6-69 Deposited matching funds from State 1150.00 <br />9-1-69 NET CASH IN BANK 2964.94 <br />5. The District Conservationist gave the following report of accomplishments <br />during the month of August 1969: <br />7 Radio Programs <br />18 Cooperators assisted (with 16 first visits this year) <br />4 Consultive Services <br />0 Agreements Signed <br />1 Conservation Plan <br />34 Acres of Land Adequately Treated <br />Mr. Hugh Price reported that during the month of August, he had two <br />weeks annual leave for vacation, thus accomplishments were lower than <br />usual. <br />
