Coltrane, III opened <br />the meeting with prayer. <br />2. Minutes of the JUNE meeting had a correction of the name of the Resource <br />Conservation Workshop representative. The name is William Woodward. <br />After correction, minutes were approved. <br />3. Chairman's Report: <br />a. It was announced that Mr. Baker Brooks has been in Cabarrus Hospital. <br />He was to be released today to go home. <br />b. A motion was made and unanimously passed that letters of appreciation <br />be sent to Radio Stations WEGO-WGTL WRKB-AM/FM and to The Concord <br />Tribune, Daily Independent and Cabarrus Free Press for their cooperation <br />in promoting Conservation work during the fiscal year. <br />C. A motion was made and unanimously passed that we order 100 certificates <br />of appreciation. Cost from NACD is $9.00. <br />d. Chairman Colerider reported on his visit to Polk County District Supervisors <br />outing on June 28, 1973. <br />4. Treasurer's Report: <br />
