Chairman Colerider called the joint meeting of the Cabarrus Soil and <br />Water District Supervisors and Watershed Commissioners to order. <br />L. D. Coltrane opened the meeting with prayer. <br />2. Minutes of the JANUARY meeting were approved. <br />3. Chairman's Report: <br />1. on behalf of members of both Boards, Chairman Colerider expressed <br />their sympathy to Hugh D. Price in the death of his father on <br />January 21, 1974. <br />2. Chairman Colerider, on behalf of the other members, congratulated <br />Mr. John T. McClure on his appointment as a Supervisor of the <br />Cabarrus Soil and Water Conservation District. <br />3. Chairman Colerider welcomed Mr. Bob Shaver, FHA Supervisor in <br />Cabarrus County to the meeting. <br />4. Chairman Colerider asked for nominations of officers for 1974. <br />Nominations from the floor were presented, motions made and <br />unanimously passed that the three officers for the Cabarrus Soil <br />and Water Conservation District be as follows for 1974: <br />S. W_ Colerider, Jr. .. Chairman <br />J. Lewis Patterson .... Vice-Chairman <br />L. D. Coltrane, III ... Secretary-Treasurer <br />5. A report was made that the N. C. Association meeting of District <br />Supervisors held in Wilmington, N. C. was very successful and <br />informative to those who attended. <br />6. The Long Range Program & Work Plan of the Cabarrus Soil and Water <br />Conservation District was revised and offered to the Supervisors <br />for their approval. A motion was made and unanimously passed <br />approving the revisions. <br />M <br />
