Chairman Patterson called the meeting of the District Supervisors and <br />Watershed Commissioners to order. L. D. Coltrane offered prayer. <br />2. Minutes of the OCTOBER meeting were approved. <br />3. Chairman's Report: <br />a. Chairman Patterson reported on activities held at the Area VIII <br />meeting in Dallas, N. C. on October 15, 1974. <br />b. Chairman Patterson made the following announcements: <br />1. Results of election for Cabarrus Soil and Water Conservation <br />District Supervisors: J. Lewis Patterson (14,222) John T. <br />McClure (10,258) and Baker Brooks (9,051),L. D. Kiker (8,310), <br />2. State Association Annual meeting will be held January 19-22, <br />1975 in Asheville, N. C. <br />3. A letter was written to the State Conservation Commission <br />cxpressing the Districts' desire to continue free fish <br />delivery in the county, <br />4. Area Sedimentation Seminar at UNC-Charlotte, December 10, <br />1974 at 10:00 A.M. <br />Chairman Patterson urged the members of both Boards to attend the <br />meetings on December 10th and January 19-22, 1975. <br />4. Accomplishments for the month of October were reported as follows: <br />20 radio programs; 67 cooperators assisted (with 21 first visits) <br />21 requests for technical assistance; 3 services on Resource Planning; <br />4 requests for Long Term Agreements; 2 Conservation LTA (160 acres); <br />
