Chairman Patterson called the joint meeting of the District Supervisors and <br />Watershed Commissioners to order. <br />2. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed approving the MARCH <br />minutes as read. <br />3. Chairman's Report: <br />a. Chairman Patterson announced that Associate Supervisor, W. a. Cook <br />is in the Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. <br />b. Chairman Patterson introduced our guest, Mr. Lipe Barrier. Mr. <br />Barrier has been a District Cooperator for many years and expresses <br />his dedicated interest in Soil and Water Conservation. <br />C. A letter has been received from the Davidson SWCD requesting <br />information for procedures in appointing Associate Supervisors to <br />a Board of Supervisors. The information will be forwarded to Davidson <br />immediately. <br />d. Chairman Patterson named those from the Cabarrus District who attended <br />The Supervisors Workshop in Mooresville: John McClure, Marvin Smith, <br />Wesley Grant, J. Lewis Patternon, Hugh Price and W. H. Cato. <br />4. Treasurer's Report: <br />a. 3-1-75 NET CASH IN BANK <br />$3120.07 <br />Mr. Grant reported that no receipts or disbursements were made during <br />the month of March. <br />b. Mr. Grant stated that the books for the Cabarrus District Supervisors <br />would be audited next week by the County Accountant, Richard Wade. <br />5. The District Conservationist gave the following report: <br />Accomplishments listed are for only a two week period in March: <br />8 Radio programs; 17 Cooperators assisted with 2 first visits; 2 Inventories <br />and Evaluations; 4 Services on Resource Planning; 1 Unit of Government <br />assisted and 3 Requests for technical assistance. <br />
