A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed that the bank <br />balance be added to the Treasurer's report in the MAY minutes. <br />3. Chairman's Report: <br />a. Chairman Patterson announced two Watershed Tours: <br />Thursday, June 12-Yadkinville, N. C. <br />Tuesday, June 17-Grifton, N. C. <br />Both tours will begin at 1:30 P.M. <br />b. Chairman Patterson announced that'Mr. W. E. Cook, Associate <br />Supervisor, is to undergo surgery on Wednesday, June 11, 1975. <br />He asked that we remember him in our prayers. <br />C. Due to shortage of funds for Supervisors travel, the District <br />Supervisors were allowed to claim only one meeting for the first <br />half of the year. The vouchers were signed and mailed to the <br />State Soil & Water Commission on June 9, 1975. <br />4. The District Conservationist gave the following reports for May: <br />12 Radio. Programs, 78 Cooperators assisted with 31 first visits; <br />12 Inventories and Evaluations; 29 request for technical assistance; <br />6 Conservation Plans (Total of 28 acres); 362 acres Conservation <br />Cropping system; 337 acres contour farming; 10 acres crop residue <br />managem--nt; 4 fishpond management; 40 acres minimum tillage; <br />
