Coltrane, Jr., was host to 30 guests at his country home-Rosecrest. <br />Those present enjoyed food, recreation and fellowship. <br />Guests attending were: Mrs. Lewis Patterson, Mrs. Marvin Smith, Miss Fay Litaker, <br />Mrs. Wesley Grant, Mrs. S. W. ColeriderJr., Mrs. L. D. Coltrane, III, Mrs. Fred <br />Harkey, Mrs. William Cook, Mrs. Carl Overcash, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Babb, Gary Babb, <br />Pearl Robbins, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hawfield, Mrs. Marcelle Milloway and Mrs. Hugh <br />Price. <br />The Invocation was given by Mr. L. D. Coltrane, III. Those present were then <br />served a delicious meal. <br />1. Chairman Patterson called the joint meeting of the District Supervisors and <br />Watershed Commissioners to order. <br />2. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed approving the March minutes. <br />3. Chairman's report: <br />a. Chairman Patterson reported that the Memorandum of Agreement between <br />the Cabarrus Soil and Water District and Corp of Engineers has been <br />signed by Colonel Wilson and returned to the District office. <br />4. Treasurer's report: <br />4-1-76 NET CASH IN BANK <br />5. The District Conservationist gave the following report for the month of March: <br />16 radio programs; 51 <br />plan for 100 acres; 9 <br />planning; 1,690 acres <br />43 acres of pasture a <br />planting; 71 acres of <br />treated. <br />cooperators assisted with 19 first visits; 1 conservation <br />inventories and evaluations; 3 services on resource <br />of soil survey; 2 non-commercial recreation developments; <br />ad hayland management; 15 acres of pasture and hayland <br />woodland harvest cutting and 117 acres of land adequately <br />
