MINUrES CABARRUS SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT SUPERVISORS MEETING MEETING NO: 170 PLACE: Rosecrest S. W. Colerider,Jr. L. D. Coltrane, Jr., was host to 30 guests at his country home-Rosecrest. Those present enjoyed food, recreation and fellowship. Guests attending were: Mrs. Lewis Patterson, Mrs. Marvin Smith, Miss Fay Litaker, Mrs. Wesley Grant, Mrs. S. W. ColeriderJr., Mrs. L. D. Coltrane, III, Mrs. Fred Harkey, Mrs. William Cook, Mrs. Carl Overcash, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Babb, Gary Babb, Pearl Robbins, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hawfield, Mrs. Marcelle Milloway and Mrs. Hugh Price. The Invocation was given by Mr. L. D. Coltrane, III. Those present were then served a delicious meal. 1. Chairman Patterson called the joint meeting of the District Supervisors and Watershed Commissioners to order. 2. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed approving the March minutes. 3. Chairman's report: a. Chairman Patterson reported that the Memorandum of Agreement between the Cabarrus Soil and Water District and Corp of Engineers has been signed by Colonel Wilson and returned to the District office. 4. Treasurer's report: 4-1-76 NET CASH IN BANK 5. The District Conservationist gave the following report for the month of March: 16 radio programs; 51 plan for 100 acres; 9 planning; 1,690 acres 43 acres of pasture a planting; 71 acres of treated. cooperators assisted with 19 first visits; 1 conservation inventories and evaluations; 3 services on resource of soil survey; 2 non-commercial recreation developments; ad hayland management; 15 acres of pasture and hayland woodland harvest cutting and 117 acres of land adequately
