Chairman Patterson called the joint meeting of the Supervisors and <br />Watershed Commissioners to order. <br />2. A correction to the September minutes: Acreage in District Conservationist <br />report should have been 226 acres. <br />3. Chairman's report: <br />a. Chairman Patterson asked Mr. John McClure to report on the <br />Area VIII meeting held on October 7, 1976. <br />b. It was reported that a special meeting of the District Supervisors <br />was held on September 27 to discuss the Farm Pond Stocking Program. <br />A report was made that information has been received that fish <br />pond stocking will continue on an indefinite basis. <br />4. Treasurer's report: <br />10-19-76 NET CASH IN BANK <br />5. District Conservationist report: <br />Hugh Price reported that the interim period has been completed conoernirig <br />progress reporting. The new progress reporting system for SCS began <br />on October 1, 1976. <br />Hugh Price reported that during the month of September he attended the <br />following meetings: Charlotte (Technical Guide review),Salisbury (Ethics <br />Training) and Area office in Salisbury for Watershed Training. Three <br />days in September were spent planning the Conservation tours. <br />
