MINUTES <br />CABARRUS SOIL & WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT BOARD MEETING <br />TUESDAY, JULY 5 2011 <br />Supervisors Present: Jeff Goforth, Ned Hudson, Johnathon Johnson, <br />Louis Suther and Vicky Porter <br />Staff Present: Amy Griffith, Daniel McClellan and Dennis Testerman <br />Others Present: Liz Wahid, Cannon School; Mimi Wahid, Cannon School; <br />Mr. Wahid; Bob Carruth, County Commissioner Liaison <br />(1) Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order by Jeff Goforth at 5:15 p.m. <br />(2) Approval of Agenda <br />UPON MOTION of Johnathon Johnson, seconded by Ned Hudson and <br />unanimously carried, the board approved the agenda. <br />(3) Approval of Minutes <br />UPON MOTION of Vicky Porter, seconded by Ned Hudson and <br />unanimously carried, the board approved the June 7, 2011 minutes. <br />(4) Report on Resource Conservation Workshop <br />Liz Wahid presented a report on her attendance at the annual <br />Resource Conservation Workshop at N. C. State University. <br />(5) Consent Agenda <br />UPON MOTION of Johnathon Johnson, seconded by Vicky Porter and <br />unanimously carried, the board approved the Consent Agenda. <br />(5 -A) PY2011 BMP Fund Audit for ACSP and CCAP <br />(5 -B) NRCS Concord Field Office Appraisal <br />The appraisal report noted that the Board's annual review of the <br />Operational Agreement must include both awareness of required <br />adherence to federal civil rights policy to insure program delivery <br />fairness and also a commitment to diversity. <br />
