December 3, 2018 (Swearing-in Ceremony 6 Organizational Meeting) Page 3760 <br />The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met for an <br />Organizational Meeting in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Cabarrus County <br />Governmental Center in Concord, North Carolina at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December <br />3, 2018. <br />Present - Chairman: Stephen M. Morris <br />Commissioners: Diane R. Honeycutt <br />F. Blake Kiger <br />Elizabeth F. Poole <br />Lynn W. Shue <br />Also present were Mike Downs, County Manager; Richard M. Koch, County <br />Attorney; Pam Dubois, Senior Deputy County Manager; Jonathan Marshall, Deputy <br />County Manager; Kyle Bilafer, Area Manager of Operations; and Lauren Linker, <br />Clerk to the Board. <br />Reception for Elected Officials <br />Prior to the organizational meeting, a ceremony honoring incoming elected <br />officials was held in the rotunda of the Governmental Center at 5:15 p.m. <br />Commissioners Honeycutt, Kiger and Shue expressed appreciation for <br />support from their families as well as voters. <br />Administration of Oath to Office: Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />The Honorable Christy E. Wilhelm, District Court Judge, administered the <br />following oath of office to Commissioner Honeycutt: <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />OATH OF OFFICE <br />I, Diane R. Honeycutt, do solemnly swear that I will support the <br />Constitution of the United States; so help me, God. <br />I, Diane R. Honeycutt, do solemnly and sincerely swear that I will be <br />faithful and bear true allegiance to the State of North Carolina, and to the <br />constitutional powers and authorities which are or may be established for the <br />government thereof; and that I will endeavor to support, maintain, and defend <br />the Constitution of said State, not inconsistent with the Constitution of the <br />United States, to the best of my knowledge and ability; so help me, God. <br />I, Diane R.
