Notion was made by Ernest Stallings seconded by M. Smoot Lyles that the State Highway and Public <br />Works commission be requested to take over the follow~E roads in Cabarrus County: <br /> <br /> Township 4- Road runs from Central Avenue in Sherwood Hills to U. S. Highway <br /> <br /> 29. and is known as ~or~r Ave and Sherwood Lane. Hard surface. <br /> <br /> Township 4- Hard surface road from Walter Ave to New ~ethpage road and is <br /> <br /> known as Gum St. <br /> <br /> Township ~- Hard surface road from Walter Ave to Lincoln St. Known as Ben <br /> <br /> Ave and is known as Lincoln St. <br /> <br /> Township 4- Hard surface road from Chestnut St. to West Walter St. and is <br /> <br /> known as Ben Ave. <br /> <br /> Township 4- Hard surface road from corner of Ben Ave to Gum St. and kaow~ <br /> <br /> as West Walter St. <br /> <br /> Township 4- pave road from Hwy 29A East at Center Electric Co and is known <br /> <br /> as RaLlroad Ave. <br /> T~ns~p 4- Tar and gravel road from New Bethpage road to Enochville -Odell <br /> <br /> School road a~ ~.~ county line and Es know~ as~ Belt Road Extension. <br /> <br /> Township 5- Grade, tar and gravel road from Concord Lake Road to dead end <br /> <br /> and is known as Austin Drive. <br /> <br /> Township 5- Widen and sand road from Gold Hill ~oad to property of J L Barnhardt. <br /> <br /> and is known as Th~ Barnhardt Road. <br /> <br /> · ownship 6- Take over and maintain road from C. R. Fisher home to dead end and <br /> <br /> is known as Fisher & Bost Road. <br /> <br /> Township 4- Hard surface road from central Ave to West Walter Ave and is known <br /> <br /> as Miller Ave; <br /> Township 7- Tar and gravel with hard surface road frcm Hwy ~9 to St. Stephen's Church <br /> and is known as Little Dutch Buffalo Creek road. <br /> <br /> Township ll- Take over and maintain roads in Fr~n klin Mill Village as~ follow~ug <br /> <br /> Robinson Street, Short Street, Rs~oad Street, Office Street~ Cross Street. <br /> Brown Str,et, ~cRae St., Johnson St, Morgan St., 4th Street, Cramer St. <br /> <br /> and St. Flore St. <br /> <br />Motion was made by P. Ernes~. Stallings ~secgnded by M. Smoot Lyles that pebition presented for <br />Sanitary District for Royal Oaks and Parkwood for creation be approved.
