PETITION FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE BOUNDARIES OF THE KANNAPOLIS SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> <br /> We, t~e undersigned freeholders within the boundaries of the <br />territory described below, respectfully petition that all necessary <br />action required by Article 12 of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes <br />of North Carolina for the extension of the boundaries of the Kannapolis <br />Sanitary District in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties be taken so as to annex <br />said territory and include the same within the boundaries of said Kanna- <br />polis Sanitary District under the authority of said Article 12 of Chapter <br />130 of the General Statutes of North Carolina. <br /> <br /> The purpose of this petition is the annexation of the territory <br />described below to said Kannapolis Sanitary District so that said <br />district will include said territory within its boundaries, and so that <br />water and sewerage facilities and other utilities and services which said <br />district is authorized to provide may be provided in said territory for the <br />preservation and promotion of the public health and sanitary welfare therein. <br /> <br /> It is understood and agreed that the petitioners will make i~stallation <br />of the necessary water lines and sewer mains in the territory hereinafter <br />described in accordance with the rules and provisions of the District for <br />construction of water and sewer lines in new developments. <br /> <br /> The boundaries of the territory petitioned to be annexed to and <br />included in the Kannapolis Sanitary District are as follows: <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the boundary of the Kannapolis Sanitary <br /> District, the northwestern corner of the Ray Gibson property, <br /> said point lying N. 4-14 E. approximately 150 feet from the point <br /> where the center line of Woodlawn Avenue intersects the boundary <br /> line of the Kannapolis Sanitary District, and runs thence along <br /> the northern line of Ray Gibson S. 85-39 E 577.50 feet to a point <br /> in the Old China Grove Road; thence along the Old China Grove Road <br /> S. 11-08 W. 300 feet to a point; thence N. 85-39 W. 539.50 feet to <br /> a point in the boundary of the Kannapolis Sanitary District; thence <br /> with the boundary of the Kannapolis Sanitary District, N. 4-14 E. <br /> 295.50 feet to the point of Beginning. <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> Name Addr e s s <br /> <br /> ....
