2O3 <br /> <br />available funds, for enlarging and extending the <br />sanitary sewer system of said County, including the <br />construction of additional sewage collector, force and <br />interceptor mains and lines, additional sewage pumping <br />facilities, additional sewage treatment facilities and <br />appurtenant facilities, and the acquisition of necessary <br />land, rights of way and equipment, and authorizing the <br />levy of taxes in an amount sufficient to pay the principal <br />of and the interest on said bonds, be approved? <br /> <br />Shall the order adopted on October 19, 1987, authorizing <br />not exceeding $2,000,000 Technical College Bonds of the <br />County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, for the purpose of <br />providing funds, with any other available funds, for <br />constructing in said County facilities for post-secondary <br />public education to be leased to and operated by The <br />Trustees of Rowan Technical College as a satellite campus <br />of Rowan Technical College, including the construction of a <br />building, related parking facilities and other related site <br />improvements or appurtenant facilities and the acquisition of <br />any necessary land, rights-of-way, equipment and furnishings, <br />and authorizing the levy of taxes in an amount sufficient to <br />pay the principal of and the interest on said bonds, be <br />approved? <br /> <br />The questions hereinabove set forth contains a statement of the purposes <br />for which the bonds are authorized by the orders referred to in said questions. <br /> If said bonds are issued taxes in an amount sufficient to pay the <br />principal and interest thereof will be levied upon all taxable property in <br />said County. <br /> For said referendum the regular registration books for elections in the <br />County of Cabarrus will be used and the registration books, process or <br />records will continue to be open for the acceptance of registration applica- <br />tions and the registration of qualified persons from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 <br />P.M. on Monday through Friday, inclusive, of each week at the office of the <br />Cabarrus County Board of Elections located at 755 Cabarrus Avenue West, in <br />Concord, North Carolina. <br /> In addition, registration applications will be accepted by and qualified <br />persons may register with special registration commissioners at the offices <br />of the Division of Motor Vehicles located in the State when applying for, <br />renewing or correcting their driver licenses and at the following places: <br /> <br />County Courthouse <br />Tax Collectors Office <br />Concord, North Carolina <br /> <br />Charles A. Cannon Library <br />Concord, North Carolina <br /> <br />Cannon Memorial Library <br />Kannapolis, North Carolina <br /> <br />Foil's Barber Shop <br />Mount Pleasant, North Carolina <br /> <br />Beatty's Fruit Stand <br />Midland, North Carolina <br /> <br /> Also, registration applications will be accepted by and qualified <br />persons may register with the registrars or judges of elections for the <br />several precincts in the County by appointment. <br /> Furthermore, registration applications will be accepted by and quali- <br />fied persons may register with special registration commissioners designated <br />by the Cabarrus County Board of Elections at such times and places as may be <br />announced by the Cabarrus County Board of Elections. <br /> Moreover, certain persons in the armed forces and their spouses, <br />certain Veterans, certain civilians working with the armed forces, and <br />members of the Peace Corps may register by mail at any time prior to said <br /> <br /> <br />
