The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />Hilger <br /> <br />Mr. Rankin stated to the citizens that the Planning Board is <br />an advisory board and only make recommendations to' the County <br />Commissioners on rezonings. The County Commissioners will <br />discuss all issues on Thursday, July 19,.1984, at 7.00 p.m. <br />and they will make the final decision as to rezoning. <br />Petition 84-14, was a request by Medical Center Pharmacy, <br />-South 'Main-'st~eet at Bethpage Road, township 4 to rezone <br />from C-3 t° C-2 'in order to 'achieve desired setback and <br />side yard requirements. Mr. Jim Scarbrough representi'ng <br />the Medical Center Pharmacy s~poke to the Board, wishing to <br />rezone this property because of setback problems. After <br />discussion'.Mr. Ridenhour MOTIONED, seconded bY Mr. Cli'ne <br />to approve Peti ti~on 84-14. The vote was unanimous. <br /> Petition 84-'15, was a request by Bobby Morgan and Don <br /> ~de~nhO~Se~',~'~lghWay 601 south of Highway 24-27, township 10 <br /> to rezone from A-2 to C-1 in order to establ'ish a commercial <br /> zone for future development. Mr. Jim Scarbrough spoke to <br /> the Board on behalf of Bobby Morgan and Don Widenhouse. <br /> Mr. Fred Comars, Ms. Ann Efird and Mrs. Don Trexler were <br /> opposed to the rezoning. <br /> Mr. Robinson addressed the Board about this rezoning. <br /> After discussion Mr. Ridenhour MOTIONED to ~ Petition <br /> 84 '15, seconded by Ms. Hilger. After discussion of the.. <br /> motion, the vote was 2 to 3 with Mr. Cline and .Mr. Rankin <br /> ~di s s~en ti ng~ <br /> Mr. Robinson addr. essed the BOard, recommending that they <br /> delay the text amendment until the next meeting when Mr. <br /> ~.E. Isenhour is present. <br /> The correction of a mapping error of the April l l, 1984 <br /> rezoning meeting.~ Mr. Edward H. Sellers' property, was <br /> advertised as 5613(06) map when it should have been <br /> advertised as 5613(05). After discussion the Planning <br /> Board approved the mapping correction. <br /> Mr. Robinson introduced a new staff member, Ms. Debra <br /> Luckadoo-Shockley, to the Planning Board. <br /> Ms. Auten addressed the Board~'about a deeded right-of-way <br /> for her son, Gary Auten, property. <br /> <br /> <br />
