a. A motion was made and unanimously passed that the Board <br />of Supervisors would finance the following expenses: <br />$26.01 to W.H. Cato for fair exhibit material and frames <br />for awards presented tonight. <br />LY) to $100.00 to publish the Cabarrus County Recreation <br />Appraisal. <br />UE to $125.00 for movie film-slides and extra help on the <br />Conservation Tours beginning next week. <br />DAILY INDEPSNDENT" August 30, 74-4 Supervisors file for election. <br />CONCORD TRIBUNE- August 30, 74-3 Supervisors file for election. <br />It was reported that maps of structure sites are not yet <br />available from SCS. <br />7. Unfinished Business: <br />Chairman S. W. Colerider, Jr. has accepted an appointment to <br />the Medical Care Commission and explained that he would not <br />be able to hold more than two appointive offices; therefore, <br />Chairman Colerider resigned at the close of this meeting as <br />a District Supervisor , Chairman Chairman Colerider's interest and <br />devoted time and effort has been endless since he became <br />a Supervisors with the Cabarrus District. Fellow Supervisors <br />expressed their regret in losing him as a Supervisor but <br />congratulations were in order on his new appointment. <br />8. New Business: <br />a. A motion was made and unanimously passed by the District <br />Board of Supervisors recommending for appointment, Mr. <br />Marvin J. Smith, as a Supervisor-for the Cabarrus Soil & <br />Water Conservation District. <br />b. The Supervisors unanimously appointed Mr. S. W. Colerider, Jr. <br />to serve as an Associate Supervisor with the Cabarrus Soil <br />and Water Conservation District. <br />
