333 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Melvin with <br />Chairman Lentz and Commissioners Melvin, Hamby, and Simmons voting for, the <br />Board approved the Fiscal Year 1990-1991 Fees and Charges Policy and Schedule <br />for the Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Department. The Fees and Charges <br />Policy is on file in the Office of the County Manager and is hereby incorporated <br />by reference as a part of the minutes. For an individual <br />or family it is based on the address of individual making the reservation. <br /> <br />Groups will be limited to 1,500 people. There will be an additional charge of <br />$37.50 per 100 people per reservation period for all over 500. <br /> <br />Groups of 400 499 people will be required to rent: the entire barn (Upper <br />level, Lower level, Shed I and Shed II), Arbor, Group Sites 2, 3, & 4. <br />Groups of 500 699 people will be required to rent: the entire barn (Upper <br />level, Lower level, Shed I & Shed II), Arbor, Group Sites 2, 3 & 4 and the W.O~ <br />Barnhardt Shelter. <br />Groups of 700 and over will be required to rent: the entire barn (Upper level, <br />Lower level, Shed I & Shed II), Arbor, Group Sites 2, 3, & 4, W. O. Barnhardt <br />Shelter and Andy Hartsell Shelter. <br /> <br />Groups of 500 people or more will receive a 25% discount on all fees and charges <br />if they reserve the park facilities for use Monday through Friday. <br /> <br />Some variation in attendance is permissible. For reservations of up to 100 <br />people there is an allowance of 25%, 101 to 300 people - 20%, 301 to 500 people <br /> 15%, and over 500 people 10%. Any groups exceeding their maximum number <br />will be billed for an additional charge. This charge will be equal to double <br />the amount for the facilities that should have been reserved for the number of <br />people in attendance in that group. Group attendance will be determined by Park <br />Ranger and/or Park Supervisor. <br /> <br />Reservations include existing park facilities only. Any additional equipment <br />or activities (ie: Spacewalks, Dunking Booths, etc.) must be approved by Park <br />Supervisor at least two weeks prior to reservation date. <br /> <br />Reservation fees are payable 7 days after reservation is booked. Reservations <br />are automatically deleted after 7 days if payment has not been received. <br /> <br />If for any reason the person or organization cancels the reserved date, the <br />reservation fee will be NON-REFUNDABLE. Every effort will be made to schedule <br />an alternate date should a cancellation be necessary. Alternate dates may or <br /> <br /> <br />
