This Board shall serve until their <br />successors have been appointed, with the filling of any term vacancy <br />to be made by the Board of Commissioners. The members shall <br />familiarize themselves with the appraisal process of the valuation <br />of property in Cabarrus County and, to that end, may, and are <br />encouraged to accompany appraisers at such times as may be <br />convenient with each member of the Board. The Board of Commissioners <br />shall fix the compensation and allowances to be paid each member for <br />their services and expenses. This Resolution shall not be construed <br />as inconsistent with any prior Resolution regarding a Special Board <br />of Equalization and Review but .merely is a supplement to and <br />reiterates any such Resolution. <br /> <br />Arrival of.Commissioner Casper <br /> <br /> CommiSsioner Casper arrived at 7:00 P.M. and was present for the remainder <br />of the meeting. She apologized to the Board and the citizens of Cabarrus County <br />for her late arrival. <br /> <br />Recognition of Boy Scout Troop 38 (Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church) <br /> <br /> The Board recognized the members of the Boy Scout Troop 38 and their <br />advisors who were present for the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
