525 <br /> <br />33-9-72-10-860 -0- 414,056.00 414,056.00 <br />Equipment <br />33-9-72-10-801 700,000.00 10,000.00 710,000.00 <br />Land <br /> <br />Water and Sewer District Meeting <br /> <br /> Chairman Barnhart recessed the meeting until the conclusion of the meeting <br />of the Water and Sewer District. <br /> <br />Chairman Barnhart reconvened the meeting of the Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br />INFORMAL PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br /> Chairman Barnhart opened the Informal Public Comments portion of the <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> Ms. Marilyn Barnhardt addressed the Board regarding a number of issues, <br />including the hiring of the County Manager, the new Westside Elementary School, <br />the Coddle Creek Reservoir, and the odor from an interceptor line near Cabarrus <br />Academy. Further, she opposed the new Westside By-Pass and supported a cap on <br />residential development in Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> There was no one else present to address the Board, and Chairman Barnhart <br />closed that portion of the meeting. <br /> <br />Recess of Meeting <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Barnhart <br />recessed the meeting until 7:30 A.M. on Tuesday, September 5, 1995, in the Multi- <br />Purpose Room at the Governmental Center. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br />NOTE: The recessed meeting scheduled for 7:30 A.M. on Tuesday, September 5, <br />1995, was canceled. Some components of the bids for the relocation of the <br />Plantation Pipe Line at Coddle Creek were not received. Therefore, the Board was <br />not ready to make a decision on the award of the low bid. <br /> <br /> <br />
