461 Resolution ConftrminS the 1998 Regular Meeting Schedule UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner'Mills and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Resolution. Resolution No. 1997-44 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 1998 WHEREAS, the regular meetings of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners are currently held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 P.M. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Governmental Center; and WHEREAS, the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday and the National Association of Counties Annual Conference require a change in the regular meeting dates in January and July, 1998, respectively. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners, pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A- 40(a), does hereby reconfirm its regular meeting schedule to meet on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 P.M. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Governmental Center with the exception of the January 1998 meeting which will be held at 6:30 P.M. on January 20, 1998, and the July 1998 meeting which will be held at 6:30 P.M. on July 13, 1998. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the meeting dates of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners for the calendar year 1998 are as follows: January 20, 1998 (Tuesday) February 16, 1998 March 16, 1998 April 20, 1998 May 18, 1998 June 15, 1998 July 13, 1998 August 17, 1998 September 21, 1998 October 19, 1998 November 16, 1998 December 7, 1998 (Special Organizational Meeting Required by State Law) December 21, 1998 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any recessed, special or emergency meeting will be held as needed with proper notice as required by North Carolina General Statute 153A-40. Public Hearing 7:00 Mr. Clifton reported that Pass and Seymour is planning an expansion of machinery and equipment and tooling at an estimated project cost of $8 million.
